I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

That is a massive, scary effing eye. You really, really need to tone it down. It's not even close to anime-like. Your whole gallery is composed of geek-like, pencil-thin figures with massive bug eyes that take up more than half of their faces with super-sharp chins that could open tin cans, and they can't be taken seriously. That's how I see it, and you need to hear some serious critiquing.
It would do you wonders to study proportions. I know, you say, "But Anime doesn't need structure!" Yes, it does. All forms of art are 100% based in reality. Nothing is made up out of pure imagination. All the professional anime and manga you see, the artists have learned real human anatomy first before exaggerating features into the style you see. That's why they look so good. You must understand the human body first before you can alter it into a style such as anime.
Unlike any decent artists who do anime/manga, you have zero understanding, and so everything you're churning out is nothing shy of weird.
I know, maybe you're just doing it for the love of anime and it shouldn't matter what others think, but see, the thing with posting your stuff on a public forum, is you expose yourself to critiquing and serious-minded folks like me. A lot of people think your gallery is weird--they don't have to admit it, but that's what they think--and if they think that way, then what's the point of showing the world your stuff if you have nothing people like? If your art doesn't matter to other people, then don't post it. (I'm saying that, because some people are overly defensive when they're critiqued.)
My point is, you should really aim to perfect your compositional skills. Learn human anatomy. I have a great resource for you: [link] It's imperative you read it. There's also some books on figure studies by Andrew Loomis.
You can do so much more with your characters and art if you know what you're doing. Study--don't just create without foundation. It's going to be a difficult process, but if you really love what you're creating, I think you'll be just fine and learning won't be as hard as you imagine.

Wonder why, during Christmas time, we decorate trees? Because Christmas was a Pagan holiday, and evergreen trees symbolized ever-lasting life. Wonder why Easter is celebrated with bunnies and eggs? Because the Pagans used them as symbols of fertility.
Yeah, I've imporved and changed the design now, so... yup. Eyes are smaller, anatomy...more precise. yeah.
Thank you so much for the constructive criticism! I never get it!!!!!!!!!
